Do you receive "kick-backs" from vendors and suppliers for referring me?

We do not accept kick-backs of any kind. In the event that a vendor or supplier issues any type of compensation, we immediately pass that savings back to you in the form of a credit on your account. (You can apply this to our fees, rental items, products or additional services.)

Do you have preferred vendors?

There are certainly vendors that we enjoy working with and who's  products and/or services we know are of high quality. We recommend these vendors as well as others who meet your needs and budget. We only make informed recommendations; the final decision is always up to you.

Why do you offer contracted clients invoice pricing?

While many event planners and bridal consultants offer products for sale at list price, ED&BM recognizes that you have already paid us. Part of our job is to save you money- not make more from selling you tons of products at regular price! Once you sign a contract with us we offer you our pricing on tons of great items- from stationery to personalized wine. We then provide a copy of the original invoice upon pickup/delivery.

Do you have an office where we will meet and I can view your products and samples?

In an effort to maintain extremely competitive pricing, ED&BM is based in a private home. We initially meet with you at a coffee shop or similar establishment that is convenient to your home or work and can bring most samples, catalogs and information directly to you. Meetings may also take place at event locations, retail shops/offices of vendors and so forth.

Why should we hire an event planner or bridal consultant?

Hiring an event planner or bridal consultant is no longer a luxury; it is an affordable necesity. Weddings and events are becoming more complex and often times a large sum of money is at stake. Most people do not have the time to fuss with all the details so they hire someone to ease the stress, provide professional support and advice during the planning stages and manage the event so that they can actually enjoy their special day. We will make sure things are handled just as you like while you visit with your guests and enjoy great food, drink and atmosphere.

Are you a member of any professional associations?

We are members of the Association of Bridal Consultants, the worlds largest association for wedding professionals. They provide us with required ongoing education, information on trends and new products, networking opportunities with other reputable wedding and event vendors as well as dispute resolution. We are consultant level members in good standing since 2004.

Do you have any pictures showing the work of ED&BM Event Services that I can see?

We are in the process of adding pictures to our website. We will only be using authentic pictures of ED&BM events- not pictures that photographers have lent us like you will see on many other sites.

Do you offer any types of discounts?

We will extend a 5% discount to all active duty military as a thank you for their service to our great nation.
